It concerns me a little that by the time comments are added to my posts some of the regular readers may have already passed that Blog and therefore may miss the comments. Why, thank you. I'm often wizzing through for a quick visit. You do have lots of fascinating stuff, good for conversation openers over a pint etc. among the serious and the downright silly. I liked the one about changing to the Gregorian calendar and 'losing' days of history as a result. There are plenty of them, rambles indeed.
